Welcome to St James' Parish Church in Haslingden

Since 1284, St James’ Church has been a place of worship, prayer and fellowship for the people of Haslingden. Today, we continue that tradition, offering a warm welcome to all who wish to explore faith, join in worship, or become part of our warm church community.

We offer several different kinds of worship including the formality of the Sunday Eucharist. A variety of hymns, music and prayers are used to enrich worship and a more intimate weekday Eucharist is offered each Tuesday morning. Beyond our services, St James’ plays an active role in community life, providing varied opportunities for friendship, support and service throughout the year. From social gatherings to pastoral care, from seasonal events to everyday companionship, there is space for everyone to belong.

Whether you are a lifelong Christian, new to faith, or simply curious to learn more, you are always welcome at St James’. Come and explore, come and worship, come and be part of a community rooted in faith, hope and love.
