Worship at the Heart of our Community

Giving to St James'

The work of St James is only possible because of the generosity of our church family and wider community. Thank you for helping us continue our mission of worship, welcome and service in Haslingden.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Ways to Give+

Regular Giving

Setting up a standing order is the most helpful way to support St James. Regular giving allows us to plan confidently for worship, pastoral care, youth work and maintaining our church building. Gift Aid can increase your donation by 25% at no additional cost if you're a UK taxpayer.

One-off Donations

Donations can be made by cash, cheque, card or bank transfer. One-off gifts are particularly valuable for urgent repairs and special projects.

Online Giving

You can give securely through our website or by using the contactless card machine available at services and events.

Gift Aid

If you pay UK tax, Gift Aid allows us to receive an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, making your generosity go even further.
Leave a Gift in Your Will+
A legacy gift is a lasting way to support the future of St James. It helps ensure our church continues serving Haslingden for generations to come.

Your legacy could help...

  • Maintain and preserve our church building.
  • Support worship and music.
  • Develop work with children and families.
  • Provide pastoral care and community outreach.
  • Whatever the size of your gift, it becomes part of the ongoing mission and ministry of St James.
